"Hey," Jack soothes, gently rubbing Ianto's back gently, knowing where he's going with that thought and not liking it in the least. "That wasn't your fault, alright? I knew exactly who I was going to run into when I walked into that place. If you hadn't sent out that message, we would have never been able to find you. Find the others." It was a good, brave thing that Ianto did, knowing that he could get caught for it, knowing that things could go wrong (and wrong they did go), but fighting the good fight anyway.

He wants to make that abundantly clear - what happened to him was horrible, but he'd do it all over again if it meant saving them, getting Ianto out of there and back to relative safety, here in his arms as he is.
