Given that the lady in question had been raised little more than a beggar? She tended to trip over it all as well, but she was still far far better at it than her father. He'd say something so convoluted he'd wind up saying something else entirely. But she never told him. Not after the first time.

"A philosopher!" She gasped, spinning under his arms. "What a lucky lady she is! A philosopher, a doctor, a revolutionary. To think she never saw it coming, either!"
