[ Trying to situate himself all over again in the bed, Peter had to silently curse whoever designed these things to be simultaneously comfortable and yet the best trap in creation. There was no way to "get situated" in a hospital bed without throwing everything out of whack and so with a final huff, Peter just stayed put and poked at his soup a bit with his spoon. ]
You new? [ Peter would normally be a much better conversationalist but it was hard when he literally felt like he was decaying from the inside out, jaundice really only furthering his sickly look. But to stand up to appearances, he finally ate a spoonful or two of his soup. ] Not that i've been here for all that long either.

[ He gives a wry sort of smirk. He doesn't doubt it'll get worse, but for the time being, while he's still able, he's trying to do what he can to help. A grin comes to his lips as Peter actually takes a couple sips of it. ] Only been here for two jumps so far. So about a month.
