The Wedding of Bill & Laura

CHARACTERS: The Roslins, Leia Organa, Bail Organa, and basically everyone ever.
LOCATION: Oxygen Gardens!
WARNINGS: To be updated, but general merriment? Marriage?
SUMMARY: Laura and Bill are finally getting married! Come celebrate, even if you don't know them. NO CYLONS ALLOWED.
NOTES: Cylons better actually arrive.

It was as beautiful a day in space as you could get, the day Laura and Bill deigned to get married. The Oxygen Gardens were decked out in chairs, flowers (blue, purple and white), and a beautiful arch for the two of them to get married under. It's a down-right Presidential affair. Or as close to it as you can get.

Before the ceremony itself, there's time to mingle, and afterwards, there will of course be food and dancing, supplied by the various people on the Tranquility.

Almost Everyone is invited, because, well, it's about frakkin' time we had a reason to celebrate on this ship.

Kaylee stops eating, strawberry half-way to her mouth, and pouts. "But we ain't got none back home, an' I don't want 'em to go t'waste. Think if someone what didn't know how important they were got 'em?"

This is called defensive eating.

Zoë can't help but smile at Kaylee at her rationalizations. "I'm sure that lots of people on the ship know how important the strawberries are. Probably part of the reason they grow them in the first place."

"Fairly certain. I've been to the Oxygen Gardens on times that weren't patrol. Got all kinds of fruits and vegetables that we would've killed for back home."

Zoë shakes her head sadly to get thoughts like that out.

"Besides, anything's better than just protein packs for meal after meal."

"Yes, I managed to get my hands on fresh carrots for the first time in ages." Which is good because Zoë actually really likes vegetables. Shhhh, don't tell anyone.

And she's well aware of how exploring can lead to "exploring". She and Wash have had a few of those adventures as well.

"Kinda makes me miss home though. Not the food, of course, but the people. Would love to put a salad in front of Mal and watch his face as he frowns."
