The Wedding of Bill & Laura

CHARACTERS: The Roslins, Leia Organa, Bail Organa, and basically everyone ever.
LOCATION: Oxygen Gardens!
WARNINGS: To be updated, but general merriment? Marriage?
SUMMARY: Laura and Bill are finally getting married! Come celebrate, even if you don't know them. NO CYLONS ALLOWED.
NOTES: Cylons better actually arrive.

It was as beautiful a day in space as you could get, the day Laura and Bill deigned to get married. The Oxygen Gardens were decked out in chairs, flowers (blue, purple and white), and a beautiful arch for the two of them to get married under. It's a down-right Presidential affair. Or as close to it as you can get.

Before the ceremony itself, there's time to mingle, and afterwards, there will of course be food and dancing, supplied by the various people on the Tranquility.

Almost Everyone is invited, because, well, it's about frakkin' time we had a reason to celebrate on this ship.

Eponine practically squeals as he bows, clasping her hands together. "Hush! You shall not step on my toes. If you do, I will trod on yours in exchange. I have hardly danced in ten years, but I believe you will not lead us astray."

She fumbles into a curtsy, before taking his hand, letting him lead her to the floor. "What a fool am I to refuse a request from a dear friend that has called me pretty?" So, that's a yes. "Did you dance often, in Paris?"

"Then I fear for both of our toes. But with luck both of our missteps shall spare our feet." He grins at her, amusement sparkling.

It's hesitant at first, remembering the steps in time to the music but the muscle memory is there filling in gaps he's forgotten. He can't say it's the most graceful he's ever been but so far, so good. "Rarely. Work usually left me far too busy to be allowed." His expression turns nostalgic, thinking fondly of the other Amis. "More time than not they would bring dancing to me."

"would they! such good friends you had!" she laughs. the dancing is slightly awkward with the music she isn't used to, but she does enjoy it. "and your work as well. what is it you did in Paris? but do not ask the same of me, for it is not an answer you would wish to hear, and I believe you would not wish to remain my dear friend." Michel didn't care. but Guillame was not him.
